EliteMotion Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine
At EliteMotion, all our Physical Therapists have a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Our staff attends monthly training seminars, separate from their continuing education requirements to keep up-to-date on the most recent research and technological advances in the orthopaedic field. As our name suggests, we believe in active rehabilitation, not passive. Ultimately, function will only improve when the client is active. Clients need to be guided in what to do and how to do it correctly.
Our Philosophy
It’s all about quality of life. Whether a client is injured due to a sports-related event or due to the aging process, all five aspects of function are decreased. Here are symptoms to look for: weakness, stiffness, slowing down, easier fatigue, and decrease of balance/coordination. All of these can lead to altered biomechanics which results in increased stress on parts of the musculoskeletal system causing prolonged pain as a consequence. For the client to be pain free and function normally again, we need not only focus on the injured tissue, but also on the vital functions of strength, flexibility, coordination, endurance, and speed.
Comprehensive Services
We provide all necessary rehabilitation services to accomplish maximum function and focus on prevention of injuries, including strengthening, balance/fall prevention, flexibility, and sports programs.
- Specialized Hand Therapy Department - We have two certified Hand Therapists who are also Occupational Therapists.
- Sports Related Injuries - Our therapists have sports backgrounds as competitors as well. One of our therapists has worked at the Olympics, the World Cup Soccer Final, World Championships of several sports, the UCLA Sports Rehabilitation Center, and many other sporting events.
A Terrific Atmosphere
One of the recurring compliments from our clients is how the overall experience is one of positivity, hope and joy. We realize that to accomplish maximum cooperation from the client they must enjoy the process.
